ABC Family

I started watching Kyle XY on the weekends on ABCFamily.com a few weeks ago and now I'm hooked. I love Nicholas Lea from the X-Files and he still plays an excellent bad guy.

But even more than Kyle XY, I now love Three Moons Over Milford. I had heard it was about a town that was affected by the moon being hit by asteroids and that everyone in the town went a little crazy thinking the world could end at any time, but I wasn't prepared for the family drama, romantic comedy (a genre I usually steer clear of) that it is.

Elizabeth McGovern has grown up - she no longer has the chubby face from years past and plays the part of the newly-free mom to perfection. This show reminds me of Gilmore Girls but I find the young attorney Elizabeth is bound to become attached to a much more likeable man than Luke of GG.

VM/Football/Big Brother

Dreamed of Dick Casablancas and Sheriff Lamb (of Veronica Mars) last night, which must mean that I'm anxious to watch the reruns of VM I've tivo'd in hopes of retracing the clues of Season 2 prior to the premier in October of Season 3. I'm looking forward to VM going to college at long last, finally being a grownup. The shorter mystery arcs promised by show-runner Rob Thomas should help the audience grow.

The Hall of Fame game last night didn't hold my attention, I fast forwarded through a lot of it, but it was good to see the Raiders win since I love Warren Sapp though I wish he was still with my Tampa Bay team.

Big Brother was fun to watch but I'm disappointed that Danielle put up James against Janelle. I hope she's right that James will either win the veto and get himself off the block or that there are enough votes to send Jenelle home, but only time will tell.

Sunday Night TV

Football season is starting today with the Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio. I plan to tivo the game so I can watch the good parts. I'm interested in hearing what the inductees said yesterday and I'm sure they'll be interviewed at some point in the festivities. I hope the game will be good too, it will be interesting to see if the Eagles play better without the stigma of TO over their heads.

Big Brother is on tonite and I can't wait to see who won the HOH competition - a lot of you may already know because of the live feeds and the availability of forums that discuss the live feeds, but I prefer not to spoil the show with that information. I also want to find out what Julie Chen meant by a possible coup d'etat (overthrow of power) that may happen soon. Janelle has disappointed me and I'm sad to have to pick someone else as my preference to win the show. I still haven't decided who I want to win but I'm afraid Will may pull it out in the end and I really don't want that.

I recommend Life on Mars on the BBC America network, about a cop thrown back in time to 1973 where he finds himself working as a cop before DNA testing and when cops could get away with heavy handed questioning techniques, while dreaming of being in a hospital, perhaps in a coma. Lots of fun.

I'm also looking forward to SciFi running Star Trek:Enterprise from the beginning starting this fall. I'll clue you in when I find out the start date.

Check back for future developments and enjoy your tv viewing!
